I noticed that slight difference too…which makes me wonder if they are doing something to improve airflow and it’s not just an aesthetic change. The canards, I kinda doubt those will be part of the facelift, but I could see them as an HRC add-on for sure.
I dunno either. Delays could’ve happened for a number of reasons, but it does make sense that there would be a changeover period, which might’ve slowed production for a bit. It wouldn’t surprise me if this was a factor, among others.
There’s really nothing to interpret in their wording. Even the title of the press release is “American Honda Offers Outlook on 2026 U.S. Automobile Business.”
Assuming the changes happen for 2026, it is safe to assume there will be a 2027 (which would also have the updates). It wouldn’t make sense to update 1 MY. As @AspecR has said many times, since the beginning, Honda has said the FL5 will have a 5 year production run. So far this has held true. I...
Likely the common seatbelt “buzz.” I’ve found that all I need to do is push down on the seat belt height adjuster (so the mechanism sits more tightly in the housing) and the buzz goes away. I might have to do it again several months later, which is fine compared to it buzzing almost every time I...
The focus is thread engagement because if you don’t have an enough, then the wheels can loosen from the hub and eventually come off. Both the studs and lug nuts need to be long enough to get a safe number of turns of thread engagement to hold the wheels to the hub.
The seat design doesn’t...
Cool! Good to know I wasn’t imagining things. I would think that adding ambient dash lights could easily be connected the same way. Your footwell lights stayed on, even after closing the doors, right?
Yep. $5k ADM was considered quite reasonable in 2022/2023. That has held true as MSRP continues to increase and dealers are still getting away with some ADM and/or “mandatory” add-ons in most cases. Congrats to those who have gotten their cars at MSRP and ZERO add-ons!
No need to piss in anyone’s Cheerios. Lol! I mean…it’s not like it’s a fake FL5 or something. It obviously fit the rules, so it can’t be too different from the production car. AND they did build and sell a certain number of limited S-Grade FL5’s in Europe to satisfy the rules as well. Did the...
