  1. Hondata FlashPro Questions

Will IMW jailbreak at their shop? That would be a game changer for me
  2. Tomei FL5 Ti Exhaust: Experience/feedback?

Tomei partnered with RSE, quality is top notch, welds are clean, fitment is perfect. It's loud, drones at 3k rpm, but for titanium and a Honda it's a deep tone.
  3. Do you regret any mods?

The FL5 has taken me extremely long to modify because it's REALLY good stock. I regret not doing a more aggressive drop, H&R springs ride fantastic but another .25 inches would probably be perfect.
  4. ALL SEASON TIRES ON MY FL5 FOR WINTER

265/30s work fine in the snow. Just had a squal out in Pittsburgh that I drove in this morning. I was actually kind of confused at the lack of sliding in the R.
  5. Down The Rabbit Hole I Go....

For a titanium it's pretty deep. I wouldn't want anything quieter for the R
  6. Down The Rabbit Hole I Go....

I can confirm the Tomei is very loud. My 3 year old daughter knows the car easily 100 yards out from inside the house.
  7. Fourth to third shift, 75ish MPH

Muscle memory requires engaging in the activity. You can't learn how to drive a manual on YouTube ?
  8. Ohlin DFV Height & Ride Quality

In my experience, which is pretty much every single car in the Type R segment, having an experienced shop dial in your coils is the way to go. I told my race shop I wanted an aggressive street setup for my 370Z Nismo on Tein Mono's, and it rode perfectly. The shop also races Porsches on the...
  9. A funny thing happened on the way to the bank....

Was there a stroke involved in this? Maybe from the white car driver? I need more details
  10. How safe is the Hondata base tune?

It's a K20. Very reliable, but when you tune you are still rolling the dice.
  11. Engine ran without oil for unknown period of time (short time) - Honda Dealership did not torque drain plug and it fell out while driving.

Key word there is minimum. At idle a healthy engine is over 20 and well over 60psi at 3000 rpm
  12. Debris in Oil Change - am I cooked fellas

You will have a significant amount of break in metal in the first 20k miles. Unless you do a handful of changes in the first 5k miles you will gradually see wear metals trend down. If you open an oil filter after break in you will see metal all over the filter element

  15. I hate seeing posts about Type R's getting stolen. Here are a few good/inexpensive products to keep your car safe!

I live in a part of the country with castle law and specifically a neighborhood where a majority are Veterans. A home invasion would be considered very unwise and doesn't happen ?
