Unfortunately I broke my kneecap and will be in a brace for weeks. I can’t drive my 2022 Civic. Is it harmful to remote start it every couple of days and then let it stop on its own just to keep its juices flowing so to speak?
Interesting. I saw someplace that the injectors in the newer civics are positioned in such a way that some of the gas gets on the valve and helps keep it clean. I wish I could find that info again. I wonder if there is any truth to this. I want to keep my car in good shape but I'm not looking...
Is anyone aware of anybody running the 1.5T engine for 150,000-200,00 miles or more without ever having a performance issue due to carbon build up? I mean without any chemical or media blasting ever being done.

been there, done that. I’ve put 40 drops of peppermint oils in a bottle of water and sprayed everything. Engine bay, wheel wells, trunk you name it. I gegen put it full strength on my cabin air filter. They keep coming back. But my car smells like chewing gum.
My original question was - where is the first entry point for the air before it gets to the air filter box. In the attached picture am I correct that this is what I'm looking for?. If so I want to try putting a piece of chicken wire to cover this. Am I correct and if so do you think it would...
