  1. Budget exhaust setup

Hard to say if it's gotten louder. If you plan on a single resonator setup I'd probably put it where the stock rear resonator is. Typically the further back it's placed the more it'll help with drone but it does come down to preference
  2. Budget exhaust setup

Based on my research it transforms the exhaust tone by changing some of the low frequency pulses to higher pitched. So high rpms will be a lot louder and low rpms will be more muted. It doesnt eliminate drone but itll make it higher pitched which can be more tolerable.
  3. Budget exhaust setup

Well i have no drone atm so no need to. And when i was hearing drone i had no interest in closing the valve. It kind of defeats the purpose of deleting resonators and it really wasnt loud enough to justify it imo
  4. Budget exhaust setup

No problem. Something really interesting to consider might be to use both the vibrant resonator and FMUs megaphone. Having just 1 stock resonator does seem to introduce some drone since they're designed to work together but the vibrant does a good job on its own so I wouldn't be worried about...
  5. Budget exhaust setup

Finally got a chance to take a drive by video
  6. Need to push the clutch all the way to the floor?

Technically you can shift without pressing the clutch at all but i wouldnt recommend it..
  7. Budget exhaust setup

PRL intake, PRL front pipe, MRT midpipe (front resonator delete), Vibrant 1793 (rear resonator swap), valve fuse pulled Did it stages so can talk a bit about the different setups: PRL intake + PRL FP: more intake sound and thats about it. Maybe the exhaust was a little louder but it wasnt...
  8. The Dapper Driver's 2025 Satin Black Civic Type R Build

I don't think it gets much better than this. That satin black is absolutely perfect. do you have more pictures of those aeroflow headlight overlays?
  9. Did a thing today... Resonator Delete

Have you deleted the rear yet? I just had the front res deleted today and it's noticeable but yeah it's no v8 lol. I plan on having the rear one replaced with a much smaller resonator soon. The rear resonator is a lot bigger and targets the low frequencies that tend to produce drone so ive been...
  10. Did a thing today... Resonator Delete

The dual delete seems to already introduce some drone. Id imagine this would amplify it quite a bit and make it sound even more raspy. If you want a loud motorsport sound that would do it. Personally my goal is a deeper sound with less rasp which is why I'm going with another resonator over...
  11. Did a thing today... Resonator Delete

Idk if "just" spending 10x the money is a comparable option lol. Youre talking about $300 vs $3k. My plan is to delete both and install a vibrant bottle resonator to cut down on the rasp. We'll see how it goes
  12. Did a thing today... Resonator Delete

Is there a consensus on the difference between deleting the front/smaller or rear/larger of the 2 mid pipe resonators? Id imagine deleting the larger one would give more of a grumble at low rpms while the front would be more rasp/volume at higher rpms. Can anyone confirm?
  13. Rear dash cam installation?

I did the same but didnt glue down the cable at the hatch like that and it wasnt a pain at all. Took like an hour to do the front and rear cams and the only visible cable is the 6-10" at the hatch hinge. I dont plan on using parking mode so routed the front cam along the passenger side...
