When I built engines, by 1000 miles, a newly built engine went through a minimum of 3 oil changes. If a D&F is not done at the factory, the delivery drive home is enough to warrant the first oil & filter change. Followed by 250, 500, 750, 1000 miles, alas proceed to MM/preferred intervals...
Woke up earlier this afternoon to find a rather pleasing text from the service advisor. After their many failed in-house attempts to repair the wheels, I requested that they be completely redone or they could replace it with new ones.
