Agreed , I always looked at it as a convenient '3rd seat' for when theres more than 2 people riding in the car but its product parameters just leave it with the worst 'road trip' score especially with the size gas tank they stuck us with ;)
Thanks for this thread as I'm presently also pricing out shops for a spring install and seeing the same wide deviance as well in pricing ?
Maybe its NYC inflation but the shop closest to me but with the best reputation was the cheapest ($500-600) while the one 'everyone recommended' told me...
I'm debating going this route instead of the SPC/Eibach upper camber arm, but I hear these arms are really for Toe adjustment vs camber , did you have any issues getting it aligned and asking the person for more negative camber in the rear ? Did you also do the lower RV6 arm?
Thanks
It's a near perfect street car IMO, if you don't need to do a lot of deep snow driving.
I think the issue is when you decide you need "camber". That's usually the gateway to all these $$ wasting I mean modding ;)
Also helps when you start tracking the car, auto crossing, etc or should I say...
Researching springs and debating between the Eibach's vs the Swift's, I value more track performance than street compliance which be the one to go with ?
Also I found that with lowered cars usually call for a 'roll center correction' kit to really compensate for the drop (when I installed these...
I keep seeing all the Japanese YouTube car people review Acura Integra Type S's, I wouldn't be surprised if they 'exported' a few out of USA to sell over there once FL5 starts sunsetting...
I think I can contribute cuz I just installed a set of SR11s and ran them at 2 track days the last 2 weeks.
Once warmed up , they are really nice.
However I think the Carbotech’s have a slight edge in terms of bite.
THe XP10s I had on previous cars were a little noisier however the SR11 are...
Eh the P3’s aren’t that aggressive, I think you’d be fine ‘breaking in’ with daily driving.
Typically that type of ’thermal break in’ is for more aggressive pads so as others have said ensure a layer of transfer. However IME you really only can do that effectively at the track because once you...
Not today but the other day while hanging out at my friends wrap shop they convinced me to try pinstripes, wasn’t originally going to but once they were done they’ve slowly began to grown on me. Def helps mine stand out
Thanks , blues for the rear seem hard to find at the moment , do you guys think I’d be fine with stock rear pads with SR11 at least for the first 1-2 track days ?
