Uploading a YT short of the windows down 2nd/3rd gear driving. It’s raining in Austin / Georgetown today so when it gets dry I’ll try to get a better clip!

So some of the things would be clips that are holding down cable harnesses to the ecu as well as the factory airbox. Took me a little while to figure them out but it wasn’t overly complicated.

Just did my intake install today took me about 2 hours ish. Install was pretty okay but the instructions didn’t really show some of the things I ran into during install. Did a sound test afterwards and it sounds really good!!

Having owned both the MK8 Golf R and now the FL5 type R, I can say that I get more enjoyment out of my Honda. I can also second what’s said about the manual on the golf. That shit sucks and no real benefit of getting stick on that platform.

Update: I just went out for a drive and went around 40mph noticed the sound got louder. I also noticed that if I put the car in neutral the sound goes away. If I engage the gear again then I hear it again.

I wouldn’t call it’s a squeal per se, what it’s definitely a high pitched sound as soon as I let off the accelerator.

While driving today I noticed this noise when the windows are down. I can’t tell what’s causing it or from where.
