Hmmm, even if the O-Ring failed, how did the filter spin off? Is it a case that the filter was only hand tightened? For the S2000 there have been many cases of the oil filter coming off, the usual cause was because the filter was hand tightened and not torqued to spec.

It probably won't be that hard. I'd imagine the fit should be excellent. If you attempt yourself, you can follow this post from an FK8, where someone installed heated seats.

Oops, missed that! The Conti's are a good choice, as is the AS4. If you don't need all-seasons and don't need the performance of the super 200s, the ECS02s is another good choice.
