Disclaimer: It should go without saying, but please do your own research before deciding on a different filter, just as you should before deciding on an aftermarket intake itself. I have personally run AEM filters for 10 years, no other non-OEM brands, but I have no affiliation and provide no guarantees.
Hey guys, sharing this AEM dryflow filter I just test-fitted with the PRL HVI:
21-2093DK
The PRL filter specs:
PRL on the left, AEM on the right:
Because the AEM is half inch shorter, it seems like it can maybe be pulled without removing the entire airbox which would be nice. Edit: nope it can’t
Haven’t installed yet, just mounted to the velocity stack, put inside the box and covered the ECU-side lid to check clearances.
While the PRL filter has to be stretched a bit onto the velocity stack, the AEM goes on loose and then snugs up once the clamp is tightened. The AEM filter has a nice double ridge the exact width of the clamp that holds it in place on the filter while tightening.
Cheers!
Edit: Adding another option from aFe POWER Takeda, found by @jtlctr, the AFE-TF-9007D appears closer in dimensions to the PRL

The aFe PRO Dry S air filter used by the Takeda performance air intake system uses a 3-layer synthetic media that requires no oils. This filter is 99.2% efficient filtering out all of the most harmful air contaminants while allowing maximum flow. This filter requires no oils and cleans with soap and water for maximum convenience.
Filter Dimesions are 5.5" flange, 4.5" height and 7" base.
And one more option:
