Awesome post! Good choice on tire size, don’t love the wheels, but the size I do.
I went the same route, I HATED, the side profile on my fk8, I was fed the same thing about 18’s. But every time I hear it’s cheaper to go 18 I know there is some regret. I can afford it, and that’s that for me. To each its own.

I wasn’t going to let that happen this time around, I knew what I wanted, and i could care less what anybody else thinks.

I’ll post some pics later, I don’t want to clutter your tread with pics of my cars, but I went te37 19x9.5 +36…. 275/35-19 continental sport contact 02 (I prefer super sports for dry driving, but this continentals feel as good or better in dry driving than the ps4s and to me they are way better on the rain)

I am on stock suspension, but I am installing hr on Thursday. I’ll pull the pins upfront, and will install camber arms in the back just in case. But I think I’ll be fine.

On stock suspension I have zero rubs, weird sounds or anything. With up to 3 people in the car, that’s the most I usually have on my r.
Thank you! Feel free to clutter away. Agreed the wheels aren’t for everyone, but I just wanted to do something that hasn’t been done before.

Love the Continental tires as well, but something about the square sidewalls on the Michelins does it for me. I’m a Michelin fanboy.

Looking forward to seeing it dropped on the H&Rs. My Eibach springs are going on Thursday as well, as long as I don’t hold out and order the Spoon springs from Japan ?

It hasn’t stopped raining over here in Puerto Rico, so I apologize for the lack of better pics and scene selection….ill add more in the coming days, if anybody wants to see a specific shot feel free to ask.

this 275-35-19 on 19x9.5 +36. Full stock suspension, front pins are on.

I think eibach springs are the best choice, I don’t think I could pull it off with my wheels, but I think you will be fine. I am surprise how oem H&R ride, but I can tell you eibachs do too, as I have experienced them on many fl5s.
Very happy to hear that!

When is the install happening? Would love to hear your thoughts after the springs settle.
they are going on this afternoon, if my tech ever gets around to it. Just drove by the shop and the car is still sitting in the lot lol

Need an update! Any rubbing? That looks amazing. I think you convinced me to go for a taller tire. 265/35 R19 would be just about perfect for me.

No noticeable rubbing while driving the car, however it looks like my PPF is lifting on the passenger side. If I went H&R Springs or Spoon, would have zero issues. I may be going down to 265/35/19 for the front tires to solve the “issue”. It drives and rides perfectly and I love the fat sidewall look. Will install 265/35/19 in the fronts and report back by Saturday afternoon.

Are you saying this because these springs have less of a drop?
correct. The Pro Kit is 1” in the front, while Spoon is 0.8” and H&R is 0.75”.

Man that looks good, before you do anything, why don’t you remove the front pins and have an alignment, there is such much adjustment there and it’s free, I am running -1.8 in the front, an it’s not even adjusted halfway….you can easily have it adjusted an decide on the fly by looking at the tire while they are doing it….

I am running -1.8 on the front and -2.1 in the back with zero issues…will even try -1.8 in the back on the next adjustment….

Good luck bud, car looks perfect I wouldn’t change tires @all…I would adjust the camber up front a little @ -1.8 you are still running @ factory tolerances.

Your car looks 10/10…just saying…
Gracias papi! I thought about pulling the pins but decided against it. I put on 265/35/19 Michelin 4S and regret it. The 275s look soooo much better to my eye ?

here it is with 265/35/19 Michelin 4S
