I work at a Honda dealership in Cincinnati and due to our sales volume we were awarded 3 New Type R’s to sell this quarter. One on the ground and 2 others due in with a month.

Asking 59k. Willing to work on that price for local customers and a little publicity (facebook posts, tiktok videos, etc)

Get that bullshit out of here. I spent 45 minutes on a Monday morning calling every dealer in Dallas with new Type R's on autotrader and in stock and every dealer except one dropped their mark-up to $2k-3k over MSRP in one phone call.

I like that its been there for at least a month with no takers and they're still trying to get 10k markup. Also kind of humorous that now they're "willing to work on price" but on 12/26 when I bought mine about 12 miles away they were still firm at 10k. I truly hope the dealers trying to gouge people get caught by karma sooner than later.
