Thought this might be the perfect place for this, popped up on my LinkedIn trending news this morning.

" A record number of new car owners are now paying at least $1,000 a month for their vehicles — a result of spiking interest rates and soaring auto prices. Nearly 16% of customers who financed a new car in the fourth quarter of 2022 have monthly payments of $1k or more, up from 10.5% in late 2021 and 6.7% in 2020. Banks are increasingly worried that consumers are taking on too much debt amid a slowing economy, Bloomberg reports, and are warning of “a potential wave of missed loan payments, followed by repossessions.”

LOL no worries bro. It can wait it's not like it'll appear this month or the next ;)
King Honda has a boost blue with spending status for ETA. So the car is built. Awaiting transportation.

Wrong thread, and this has been posted multiple times in multiple threads. If banks are so worried, maybe they should tighten them DTI limits and stop handing out car loans when customers are stretched past 50%-60% DTI. People have always been dumb with car payments. The FL5 hasn’t suddenly changed that.

I know it's the wrong thread, been following all 444 of these pages and cost / opinions / financial oversight has been very common on this thread so figured it would get some people chatting again!

Just laughed a Texas dealer off the phone. He called me at 9am to inform me they have boost blue "on order." They only want a 5k non-refundable deposit w 20k adm. Told him he was waaaay off and then laughed. A lot.

Just received word from my WA dealer where I am first on list. Their ETA is Jan 8-12 for my car. Could this be the first of the second wave?!

Coming way quicker than people were thinking.

can’t see this happening…

unless it’s already here and built

no way it gets from japan (build dates scheduled for 01/10) , goes to customs, leaves the port and to you in 3 days lol

I don’t believe so.

The vins of the cars that haven’t been made yet are down in the 600’s which indicates more are not sitting at the port
