Some positive news for once, spoke to GM today at my dealer and I am #2 so next car they get is confirmed mine. Only issue is they dont know when next car is coming.

Has anyone heard anything lately?
My GTA dealership expects incoming early Spring next year (Feb/March). Someone else mentioned there are only 17 in total headed to Canada this year. Keep your fingers crossed it'll be unlikely we get ours this year.

i think only two people mentioned they are getting theirs within weeks or month but before end of year, t then there is the 2 for media cars or something, so they leaves 13

the rest of us who are#1 or signed bos seem to be getting simmering 2023 or 2024

Have you heard of any customers receiving their car in Ontario yet?

A CW was spotted around Honda Corporate in Markham. Assuming that's one of the two media cars.
It's only been the western provinces, speficifcally Alberta and Manitoba that are expect theirs in weeks/month and one that apparently already has one (Manitoba).

Yeah there's apparently two running around there.

That's the presser, a guy I know had his Focus RS out with that car and the guys from Throttle house at the start of last week they were shooting a comparison (apparently the GR Corolla broke so they got a different car too). It's same plate as the one they had at the track and the photos floating around. They even let him drive it, he said it did not dissapoint!

I'm just ironing out some details on the car I found on the east coast with the GM, he says it apparently is coming in January. Apparently they aren't sure what a GR86 is worth though and don't see many over there, so that's my hold up currently while the used car manager figures out what it's worth. But he's assured me the car is mine and he will not sell it.

Also told me they'll do the velvit rope treatment and leave it in the showroom until I can pick it up in the spring, as they don't have off site storage. Sounds good enough to me!

I have talked to a few buyers who were confirmed to get one in the next 1 - 2 weeks.

2 in Quebec, 1 in Manitoba, 1 in Ontario, 2 in Alberta.

That's all from them posting either here or on facebook.

There are likely more but they haven't shared.

Can't wait to see the TH video! And Jan isn't too far off. It'd be funny if you randomly started wiping and polishing the car while it's on display ?

I like the straightpipes more personally, but both do good work!

Lol take monthly visits down to dust the car off

Did you get the paperwork done yet? I'm hoping mine comes in after Feb. No point driving until temps get warmer.
Paperwork as in deposit? As for allocation I have in writing now that next allocation is mine from GM. Still wont believe it until keys are in my hand.

Yo if someone who has already secured one has a connect, I will gladly pay a finders fee if you help me secure one, no joke. Can't stand the not knowing....
