It's not bad, if you don't mind paying the money for it, go for it. Honda is reliable so I would take my chances instead of dropping couple of grand on warranty.

So I got an update... It's not horrible, but looks like my dealership wont get their allocation until 2024. That being said, he promised me that one allocation they get is guaranteed for me and my deposit is down. And from what I understood, looks like that 3 yr production seems about right for Canada. Looks like we will get the CTR from 2023 to 2025. Fuck this electric cars eh.

Well, hope I see some of you posting photos, hopefully I'll join the club end of 2023 or early 2024.
Well that’s good you’re getting one and they stuck to their word! Seems like not everyone is so lucky. What color are you getting or did they know?

honda is good with power train reliability, the included warranty is only for 3 years or 5 years or 60k can't remember ...power train is probably good for 10 years min the problem happens with other things like electrical switches, windows, AC was a big one on the 10th gen so if you don't have extended warranty you're on your own... i am probably going to get the 7 year 160k for an additional 2k and that's all i would get ... accessories all after market including winter mats, wheels and ofc aftermarket performance

Nope they don't know much, all they know is they have one allocation over 3 yrs I'm assuming. And I want either SGP or CW, SGP my first choice.

So let’s add more fuel to the fire… just got a call from salesman, they are reimbursing my deposit and immediately putting a new deposit back into the Honda system. GM was told Honda does not want people with multiple deposits everywhere, they want to control that.

No news on total allocations or when they will arrive, but I am guaranteed to receive one apparently. Somehow I was bumped up from #3 to #2, just behind a colleague of his. They wanted red, I asked for sgp first choice, cw second choice, so it might just friggin happen.

Huh? The price is literally on the Honda website, financing + leasing rates are here also. WTF?
Some people are just so garbage at their jobs its shocking how easily it is to get employed @ a dealership lmao.

Not having the pricing is BS. I Just went in and finalized my order with a dealer here in Quebec this morning. Getting a CW in spring 2023 They're only getting 2 for the whole production run. For reference, they were getting 6 FK8's a year.

I know that at least in Alberta, its mandatory to have engine block heaters so they need to factor this in. I guess they just haven't officially announced the price on their own dealership website yet so they say they don't have it.

EDIT: I also did have a dealer ask me why all of a sudden they got a lot of inquiries this morning. So they probably don't follow the news lol

Yup, totally. Seems like they're completely out of the loop on things. We almost always know more than they do.
