"Trust me" meaning what exactly? Does he have an inside source @ HQ with the final allocation or sales process on hand?

I asked my HQ connection again, they stated "has not been decided yet" lmao, meaning stfu and wait.
That’s all we can do!

"The camera doesn't see enough" idk man cars used to come with only 1 mirror, and then 0 mirrors before that. Paying attention is hard work.

I have parking sensors in two cars, one with prior rear end damage that I think was never repaired quite right, and they both seem to be wrong about half the time. I don't put much stake in them.

I may be aging myself here but I drove the first ten years with my license without a camera or sensors. I had zero parking accidents and could park like an inch away from walls without much hesitation.

With that being said, I freaking love cameras and sensors — I’ll take what is provided but I don’t need them. Anything that increases safety for me and for others is always welcomed.

Same boat. I'm just not bothered if a car comes with them or not. By the time I go blind, I'll hang up my keys anyway, even if my car can drive itself.

Cars in Asia have standard front/rear parking sensors for years due to tiny parking spaces. Not really a necessity in the US because of larger and more plentiful parking spaces. Can't speak for Canada since their base trims are usually loaded.

One you've had parking sensors and rear view camera it is very hard to go back to a car without them IMHO - puts you more on edge when parking!

Luckily in the US, that isn’t a problem for 99% of people. I wouldn’t be parking this thing within 100 miles of anything I could hit anyway.

parking sensors are awesome where parallel parking is common. In the DC area, if you're going out for dinnner or a any event you'll most likely be parallel parking. So much easier to place your car, especially the Civic being sucha big car.

Anyone else notice the mirrors are folded also? I wonder if Canadians get folding mirrors also LMAO.

Or folded cause of port. I have a feeling we might get all the JDM goodies.
The cars at the California port had folded mirrors as well.
