So, do we have any guesses, now that the 12th and the Detroit Auto Show are pretty much over, as to when the next opportunity for info might be?

The official FL5 reveal was about 3 months after GRC, so maybe we'll hear pricing 3 months after as well. I guess that'd be December.

I believe the official CRV site + details will launch on the 22nd. Next best guess would be the start of fall for details to drop on the R.

WIld swing here.

Off topic a bit here, but does anyone here have more details about the CRV Hybrid system? Looking to get my parents a more efficient car. I have no idea how the tranny works in that. Given its not a CVT and a EV style 1 speed tranny (I think)?

The 2023 CRV Hybrid Touring looks like a pretty good, any thoughts on the new drive train etc vs. the competition. I've never bought, owned, looked into or considered a SUV before. Fish outta water here LOL.

You should think about placing a deposit on a Type R at an MSRP dealership if you want any hope of getting a Type R without getting fleeced some time during its production run

Honda Pro Jason posted CRV’s hit dealers on the 22nd. Not just site and details. Not sure if that changes your thought on what you’re talking about, just thought I’d mention lol

I live in an area where almost all of the 40+ dealers in my area, are first come first serve, no deposits, until VINs are available.

Even now I'm not seeing any changes to the Honda.ca website for the CRV. I'm just spitballing, if they make a edit to the site for the CRV, MAYBBBBEE they might decide to add in some R bits? Who knows LOL.

is your dealer still taking deposits?
We can but we're up to 48 and there is no guarantee you'll get a car. Fully refundable and some people will inevitably drop out (Itch to get it sooner / can't actually afford it) so who knows.

I take it $5k over MSRP is decent? How did it work with the 10th gen CTR, was it crazy markups at first before release then did it go down?

It was the same when the 10th gen came out. I called about 30 dealerships before I found one at MSRP.
