I was going to grab the Origin or Carbing, but that Airtec looks fantastic for WAY less money. I guess then I can match my wife's R53 MINI!
Message you with more info on Airtec they are huge in Europe . I def think it’s nice and unique also. Def a fan!

Anyone experience leak issues at the sight tube on the MDR tank?

Scott @Mishimoto gave me this response:

We have not tested the capacity, but it is roughly the same as the OEM. Please note that changing the capacity may affect the pressure. This product is designed to work with the Type R motor while maintaining stock fitment and performance.

I wasn’t exactly satisfied with response, and asked them to measure and verify their tank’s capacity.

The stock cap is 127 kPa (1.27 bar), and the Mishimoto cap is 19psi or 131 kPa (1.31 bar).
Hey @timestamped - This was just flagged to me today. I apologize that Scott wasn't able to answer your question. "We don't know" should never be a final response from Mishimoto.

That being said, I've put in a request with our engineers to have the capacity difference measured and I will share it with you as soon as I have it. This was an oversight on our part, as volume measurements and comparison with stock are typically a standard piece of information we include with our coolant tanks.
