I plan to go with ExtremeContact DWS 06 Plus in 275/35ZR19

several people use this size, even on lowered springs with no reported issues.

how about a 285/30R19

maybe on a 19x10 +55 or +50
https://tiresize.com/comparison/

about the same diameter, but obviously much wider...

11th Gen Honda Civic Will Conti dws06plus 275/30/19 rub? (did try to search, stock wheels) 2025-09-18 at 10.52 AM

per Tire Rack the Rim Width Range: 9.5-10.5" and OEM Honda rim is 9.5"

however, searching the net I found reports of minor rubbing on the inner fender liner during aggressive cornering or full steering lock, especially with softer sidewall tires.

some suggested fender liner trimming or rolling the fender lips to avoid rubbing

personally I will not go that wide, and if I do get new rims, I'll get the "god spec" 18" rims.

BTW, my goal for any new tire I consider getting would be to maximize sidewall to avoid issue with the numerous potholes we have around here.

for the first set I plan on keeping the OEM 19" and goind 275/35R19

if that does not work, then I'll consider 18" god spec rims which will give an extra 1" sidewall.

what was the offset and suspension set up for the cars experiencing rubbing? on a lowered car and lower offset (+40) I would think it would rub.

but, with an offset only 5-10mm lower than stock, it will compensate for 10mm wider tire (on each side of the wheel).

I am not making a suggestion, just asking if anyone has specific experience with this size.

I'll attempt to search and find the specifics, the above was based on my recall...
