Down in Mexico last night, +-130mph (theoretically)
Go to put the car in neutral and the trans feels off, almost like I’m still in gear but I wasn’t. I keep trying to move the shifter to see if I’m in neutral but the shifter doesn’t have a lot of play, like it’s in gear.
Finally find neutral at 70mph, go back into 5th and all is well. Never took my foot off the clutch until the dash showed 5th gear and I was at 70mph. So no risk of over rev or damage but has anyone experienced any weird behavior at high speed?
Only other thing I will note is that the infotainment center was glitching out and the screen was blurred while this was happening as well. No check engine lights or any other lights on the dash
Turned the car off/on to fix the infotainment and trans felt fine once I got back into fifth. There was no popping or grinding. Just that extremely weird feel and behavior at high speed
