Boring part. I got them and installed them with the car parked on the street...easy..no jack needed.

Tire shop and mechanic LOVED them being there.....they went out of their ways to comment on them to me (appreciation).

Just FYI. Your mechanic (which may be you too) will love them.

They stay on the car and are designed in fact to take advantage of that shape. Hard to explain. They fit perfectly.

My mechanic noted that they also protect the side pieces on the car....win win.

I got the red color - easy to see, and it is a type R of course.

Yeah, the ZL1s are the same basic thought process: they have set screws and I just keep them on the car. Mine are red, also, so they catch the eye if you're looking for them.

Design to be on the flats is stronger, so I went Verus. I have worked with them in the past and they are great guys. Did not want to have the thread hi-jacked. Best.

No hijacking - the Verus accommodates the J shape of the Type R jack point via a wider channel - the ZL1s' narrower channel does not. Sorry I didn't make that clearer.
