TrackAddict (or equivalent) with an OBD Dongle

has anyone tried TrackAddict (or equivalent) with an OBD dongle on the track? before my FL5 i used the Veepeak OBDCheck BLE Bluetooth OBD II dongle in my MK6 GTI with good success.

OBD thoughts? issues?

ps: i plan to use LogR but want my TrackAddict with OBD and a gopro as a backup.

Tried it with a FK8 and I didn't have any success getting the dongle to connect unfortunately. Could have been the OBD dongle though..

Eventually went with a Garmin Catalyst. Pricey but great set up.
