Hello! I recently installed the MBRP dual tip exhaust on my 22 Si without the included resonator. I love the sound of it during cold starts, acceleration, and general driving as there is not a lot of drone, the tone is nice and deep, and its not particularly super loud.
However, there are ALOT of pops and burbles that are significantly louder than the rest of the exhaust noises even during hard acceleration. This, funnily enough, lead me to even getting pulled over for a loud exhaust. Luckily, the cop was a good sport and when it didn't pop in front of him after he asked me to rev it (thank god), he let me go.
Is there any way that I can keep the sound of the exhaust, but just decrease the burbles? Would a tune do it? It seems as though the resonator only effects the overall volume, not eliminating the burbles at all.
Thanks for your advice!
