Hey guys! Got some more pictures for you, we are testing a couple different things on the intake but tentatively this is looking like our design. We actually are going to be running a stock MAF housing size which is different than what we had initially thought but there are reasons behind this that I don't want to dive into too deep at the moment, but we are going to be testing an upgraded MAF housing shortly with more details on that later!

Am I correct in assuming that this will be a CAI with the filter part of the way down to the wheel well, to make it harder to hydrolock?

how are the intake temps with that? I'd built a custom 3.5" intake that was that same basic design but ended up stuffing my filter back in the wheelwell and hogging out some holes in that fake grille to get the temps closer to ambient.

Do you have any pics or a build write-up? What did you use for the MAF housing?

Well, this is making the first version.

Then these 2 are about going to full CAI and then opening the grille on top of that. I can confirm that running my first version was still way better at keeping IATs low compared to the stock box w/o resonator below it... I am in mexico again right now running that setup and IAT is absolutely horrible. It's 83 outside and driving through town IAT gets in the high 140s consistently, and is not quick to drop.
