Recently installed the JQWerks steering wheel system in my FL5 and thought this would help anyone who's interested in doing the same to their car. Hope you find it helpful!

Installed JQwerks Madtrace hub today. Quality is top notch. Every detail taken care off, truly a full kit. The instructions on the JQ werks site are in depth and make it easy to follow. Paired it with the Mugen steering wheel and waiting on the MOMO style horn adapter to install de NSX-R horn button. Really pleased with hub.

Is the horn adapter needed for all horn buttons? Without it, are you just programming one of the buttons for horn functionality?

The hub comes with the center horn button you see in the picture.(Madtrace logo) I understand you cannot program any of the buttons to be horn. Buttons are pre-programmed with all the steering wheel functions plus two additional functions, R+ button and traction control button.
You will need the horn adapter for all Momo style horn buttons..

Yes, kind of. You have to remove the MOMO style horn you purchase from the base it comes with. So you are basically left with the logo button and the spring. That you sandwich into the madtrace horn adapter. All of those button contacts are different so may have to work with the contacts to make sure it actually works when you press on the horn.
