Today I installed an ambient lighting kit I got on AliExpress for roughly 190$. I only installed the door panels and the A/C vent strip to keep it "subtle". The kit also included door pockets, handles and footwell lights.
Brightness and color can be adjusted using it's switch or through an app.
IMO these look nicer than the other designs out there.
