Hi folks, I'm a newbie among you. I live in Türkiye. My passion for cars goes back to my childhood.

Let me advise you guys, be careful with your words, they may become your destiny. After saying "From now on I don't drive anything below 171hp" out loud
(I owned a Vectra 2.5 V6 170hp for 14 years) God heard me and restricted me for another 14 years up till that March and gave permission to have one that I like. 2024 FE1 CRBlue Executive+ 182hp.

Although I have a tendency to keep it original, the passion for car modifications has been inherited from my younger years. That's why I’m being tickled when following the forum especially.

I wouldn't sound old-fashioned, I am. I’ve always disliked infotainment bits, they look awkward on dash, IMHO.

Let me get to the point. Did anyone here think about swapping their infotainment, or actually do it? With a single din flip-out car stereo.

I’d like to hear your thoughts and learn from your experience, thanks, happy to join you all 😎

You can install a single-DIN flip-out unit, but on the 2024 FE1 it’s not recommended because the factory screen controls HVAC and vehicle settings. Removing it causes loss of functions, and there’s no full Canbus adapter to keep everything working. Most owners stick with the OEM unit or use hidden audio upgrades instead.

Thanks for the reply mate. So it's obvious I have to postpone that project till someone or manufacturers supply that canbus adapter thinking like me over infotaintment bits.
