Hey guys, sorry if this is already a thread. I've been searching, but I cant find info on rubbing and tire fitment for 18 x 10.5 47. I'm looking at getting the Apex VS-5rs wheels and thinking at 275 or 285 35 tire. Car is currently on Eibach sport line springs. Does anyone have pictures how this will look and if there is rubbing when cornering? Id love to see some pictures and get some insight if possible.

You'll need to add some camber for sure.

This is a car we added EVS ball joints, Eibach pro-kit for suspension mods. Customer has Superspeed 18x10.5 +47 with 275/35/18 Continental DWS

-2.7⁰ front camber, -2.1⁰ rear

I have the stock top hats maxed and just some lowering springs. If I'm running a 275 would it be better to just do a 9.5 wide? Do you track yours at all?

This is a customers car, I dont know if he tracks or not.

10.5 +47 is the same outer position as 10 +40. You dont have enough camber with the stock struts pushed in. You need LBJ or camber plates.

Also if you track it, -1.8⁰ (ish) of camber from stock struts is going to destroy your outer half of your tire. You need more camber for the track, regardless what wheel size you go with.

Yea I run -3.0 on my track built sti in the front and -2.5 rear. Part of me may just go with a 9.5 wide since im looking to do a 275 35. What do you think?
