how does the ktuner deal with in car temps during summer?

as summer approaches, i'm worried about leaving the ktuner v2 in the car. how does the ktuner deal with hot interiors while parked? should i move it to the glovebox or trunk during hot days? i currently have it mounted with suction cup on windshield.
