FL5 Mugen Lip Kit Install: Anyway Around Trimming OEM Side Skirts?

For those who have installed the full Mugen lip kit on the FL5, is there anyway around trimming the OEM side skirts in order to successfully mount the Mugen side skirts? I was going to the pull the trigger on the entire kit next year when it warms up, but after seeing the install for the side skirts, I don't feel confident doing the trimming, lol.

Any advice or guidance is appreciated!

I'm just a lunatic when it comes to drilling and trimming off OEM parts, especially how expensive these cars are. And how it would be if I ever needed to remove the mugen side skirts and putting the OEM ones back on if itll still mount properly.

I have the Mugen kit, but I haven't installed it yet so I can't say much about it as of right now. As far as trimming the OEM side skirt, I don't think there is a way around it.

yeah I think that’s the case. Honestly the more I talk to owners who have the full kit, it’s really not that much trimming, and it’s reversible.
