FL5 Exterior and Interior Bulb Replacements

I was looking to swap out my rear indicator lights to Silvatecs to get rid of the amber/egg yolk look and then I realized, maybe I should just swap out some bulbs to LEDs. Does anyone have any experience with this, what brands work best, etc? It seems like an easy and inexpensive swap to make the FL5 a little bit cleaner.

I swapped blinkers and reverse light with lasfit bulbs, same bulbs I used in my 22 Si. Works fine except the bulbs are huge and because the connection isn't super tight, it will fall out with enough bumps or closings of the hatch. I just put a bit of electrical tape around the base of the bulb which both 1) holds the bulb in place and 2) creates some resistance and less space on the base that you screw into the bulb housing.

In practice they look great and are bright af. Sometimes I feel back when I'm turning with people behind me, it is like staring into the sun.

I was actually looking at the lasfit set too, seems like a good price and people like them. I don't necessarily want to blind people, but I do like how clean they look.

Everyone else will be ok as long as they don’t look directly at it ?
