Hello Folks,
I recently installed my fog lights and DRL on my civic si 2022. I took it to a shop to get the wire connected. Everything is good but only problem the shop guy ran into was he couldn’t/didnt want to connect the red wire to headlight. He said something along the lines that the system is a CAN bus system and so I would need a module to tap into ignition power on headlight. This was the first time hearing this from all DRL install i have seen from they just tap into wire harness of headlight. What’s y’all thoughts?
Currently, the best option the shop guy gave me was to tap the power of DRL into fog lights. So now my DRL only come on when fog lights are on.
Just looking for advice on the power/red wire for DRL. I would like to have that powered on with ignition.
