I'm really looking into this hood and I'm wanting to know if anyone's running it and what the quality is like. I have the fenders but I need the hood. anyone running this? if so can I see pics of the underside? that's the only thing I'm crossed on. haven't seen any pics of the bottom and I'm a little skeptical because of that. thanks in advance.

I have no experience with their hoods. However, it appears you can purchase it two different ways. One sided or two sided. Meaning if you buying single sided, you are going to see the fiberglass reinforced plastic on the underside that they use as a base layer for their hoods. If you pay a little more you will get a layer of carbon over that fiberglass reinforced plastic. What it looks like? I have no idea. But for that cheap of a price tag, I cant imagine it "showcar" quality brother. More like "race spec". Just my thoughts.

In addition, if time is not of importance. I would just email the company and request a photo. Their website states that they are in stock.

id have to agree with you with it not being the best quality but for a decent price tag and not Varis pricing ( and with the two inlet scoops) its not something im worried about leaving out in the driveway lol. my garage is almost always full of someones car being worked on being mine my bike or a friends. not a bad price to save a little weight, add some carbon, have a better way of heat expulsion and air circulation

I recommend installing hood pins if you plan on running at high speeds. Carbon fiber is very strong in tension, but relies on epoxy (or similar polymer) in bending (shear). Epoxy has a small fraction the strength of the OEM aluminum hood.

i already have hood pins waiting at home and I'm just waiting till I get closer to the day of return to order the hood. I've already planned on doing hood pins instead of the factory latch
