Searched and couldn’t find any info on it, but it seems if you run an intake with the APR carbon cooling shroud piece you’ll have to do some trimming.

Is anyone running an intake with the APR shroud that didn’t have to modify anything? I don’t mind modifying if I need to, just trying to see if I can avoid it.

Leaning towards the Gruppe M / Blitz, but not opposed to other brands. Not looking to replace the inlet pipe, just a clean looking intake setup.

Shout out my boy Erik for helping me with the build so far. Less than 200 miles on the car and already modded. A lot more parts waiting to be installed lol!

It was designed for use with the factory airbox. We highly encouraged fitment options for popular aftermarket options but it never happened. :(

Are you guys the only one that carry the PRL HVI in gloss carbon?

I probably need to explore options on other intakes.

I have the whole carbon setup on mine. I put it in the other week. I'm tempted to get the hondata canflex and a custom phearable tune as well now. @phearable I have it in my cart lol, I want to click purchase, it's at $$1400 and some change right now with everything in my basket.

I have the apr cooling carbon plate and running the gruppe m intake. There is no modifications required and it fits fine.
Would you happen to have any pics?

Have you had any issues with the Intake? I’ve seen on social media people saying they have issues with the elbow or clamps?

I haven’t had issues with it. I really like the intake so far.

Beautiful engine bay!

I have the complete APR kit with side pieces, so hopefully the Gruppe M / Blitz will work with no modifications.

I was also planning on the Amuse R1 strut tower bar, but supposedly it won’t work if you’re running camber on the car? To many expensive parts for them not to work without modification LOL!

Nice,
That r1 titan bar is beautiful. I dont think the other panels would be a problem. I think i might finish off the set after ordering and installing a tsp downpipe and tune. Your car looks so good, is that the mugen kit?

The Amuse strut bar blocks the opening of the brake fluid reservoir. So anytime you want to open the cap, you need to take the strut bar off. So you don’t want to remove the guide pins to adjust the camber up top. Because if remove the guide pins and install the strut bar, every time you remove the strut bar, the struts will collapse inward. You can however adjust camber by installing lower ball joints.

Thank you! Yes, full mugen kit and just waiting on the front bumper garnish pieces to arrive.

Have a bunch of small pieces I still need to install. Just trying to figure out which intake, strut bar and I’m working with a company in Germany to make an exhaust that keeps the actuator functional and operational through the cars functions.

I installed the lower ball joints I got from Evasive, but also have the pins pulled on each side. I’ll have to take a look at it again.

Thanks for the info. Might have to look at another 1 piece design tower brace. Still prefer the Amuse though.

I have the EVS ball joints also. I have it at the middle setting which gets me -2.8 camber. I think it’s more than enough on a street car that sees 3-7 track days a year.

You can hammer the guide pins back in.
