Cool, thanks for the reassurance. I'll go ahead and hook mine up to my battery tender.
I've been storing like 3 or 4 other shitboxes every winter so I know its best not to start them until I'm ready to actually drive them.
Hoping that this winter doesn't have much left in it....but my CTR...
For those who store their cars over winter...are you just using a battery tender or something similar?
I don't plan on disconnecting my battery terminals. I usually just plug in and attach my battery tender to my other cars.
Is that OK to do to the FL5? Mine is a 2025.
Its probably a dumb...
Lol its all good, man.
I wish there was a more simple way to turn off stability control tbh.
Hope your problem is solved with better fluid! That's a simple fix. Good luck
I doubt the pads are your problem.
And there's no point reminscing about other pads on other cars.
The Type S is a 3200LB car with massive brakes with floating rotors. A milder than usual pad will be fine.
I doubt your issue is pad related anyway.
Yeah, I don't plan to drive mine in snow or salt.
Everything else is game. And it'll probably be garaged when its not being driven.
I know realistically, any coating is not gonna last more than 1-3 years max.
I had good luck with Adams graphene coating on my other cars. I'll probably try...
A soft pedal typically means that you're overheating the fluid, not necessarily the pads.
You can always try a higher temp fluid first.
Your post is also very confusing. It seems you've tried lots of pads on a bunch of cars, but not your current car.
And you call your car "type-r ish"...
Ok. Well, I'll decontaminate it and polish it.
I'm sure that the dealership put it through the meat grinder during the 1st wash, so I'm sure there are swirls.
Hi all,
I bought my brand new FL5 during the winter.
Its been sitting in my garage waiting for better weather.
Once spring comes around, I'd like to ceramic coat it.
I've coated a few cars before and I'm just wondering what people have had success with in terms of prep.
Namely, is NH0 paint...
