Sorry, not me, CTR estimated delivery is 1st week of November but not confirmed.
But I was thinking the Royal National Park would be great place to take the CTR when arrives. Have not driven this road a lot but was memorable when I did. Sounds like others have similar thoughts.
Saw this...
Thanks for sharing. Seems like delivery about 2 weeks earlier than "early November" advice, which is nice.
Based off Josh's production date and delivery date seemed to be a lead time of 61 days. I estimated build date (for expected early Nov delivery) of 8/9/25. So close to yours.
Did anyone else get the email yesterday afternoon offering…
“To purchase the Carbon Fibre Spoiler or any other Type R accessories individually, contact your local Honda Centre.”
Not sure what other Type R accessories there maybe.
Interested to hear from anyone with insights.
Hi Josh,
Nice to hear you have received your CTR and had chance to drive it on some of the great South Coast roads. I plan to take my CTR down the coast roads South of Sydney. Seem like great roads to enjoy twists and turns without having to max out on speed. Congratulations.
Great to hear...
Agree, always worth acknowledging when someone goes above and beyond.
You answered my question re wait time thanks. Not sure, but last deliveries were in 2023? That may not be 100% accurate, but point is some significant wait times in the past.
I am sure you will get to enjoy all aspects of...
Your dealer sounds like he is excited for you and making the effort to update you. I have had no call or email from my dealer since I was contacted by Honda. I don't really get the indifference/lack of interest.
How long have you had to wait since you first decided to buy one?
Excited for you...
On the bright side, based off some of the comments in this forum, you car delivered in November may have a much later build date than those delivered earlier and give you a little extra cash back whenever you decide to sell or trade it. Hopefully after at least a few years enjoying it.
Hi Cannotbechanged,
Your interpretation and understanding sounds logical and business like to me.
A process to sell the limited units, run to identify genuine buyers, by seeking a modest deposit, slightly higher than normal, that will filter out the dreamers, sign a contract and then allocate...
Thanks for sharing. Little over the process myself. Similar to you, after my call from Honda Australia, I never received a call from my dealer. When I called a few days later to enquire about an update or a delivery date, dealer said we don't know. Response was, "when Honda Australia tell us we...
Received a call from Honda today, 25/8/25, to let me know I had been allocated a white Type R.
Based on above comments does sound like maybe allocations based on State pool of vehicles. I am in NSW.
Yes, may still be a chance. But I would have thought they could make 120 calls to those allocated in a day. Sure they are keen to get their money asap.
I ordered White, Blue as second choice. Probably prefer the Blue, dealer said Blue would be rarer but more chance of getting in white.
I paid...
Congratulations joshinthecity and Lamotrigone on getting a Type R in the 2025 allocation.
I paid a deposit and signed a contract, but so far, crickets.
