I know the exact ticking noise you are referring to. Its been driving me insane. I read on a different thread it might be a window trim but I haven't had any luck fixing it. Will be trying the seat belt adjuster and see if that works.

I'm using advanced wheel locks, they are usually out of stock but restock quick.

The most I've had it activated for is ~3 days and that's with a front and rear dashcam hooked up as well. This is my daily and I rarely go more than 3 days without driving it. I remember reading that someone used it for 3 weeks with no issues. Eventually it will drain but it's not really meant...

I just got my FL5 a month ago in South FL and have only seen two so far, a black and white FL5.

JDI Ghost Lock is what I installed. It's a tracker and fuel pump killswitch that works through an app. Install was straight forward and easy just a bit involved since you need to remove the rear seats to get at the fuel pump connector.
