Curious - I'm experiencing the same issues on shifter resistance, particularly between 1-2. No lock out or gears popping out, it just feels like theres a bump before it slots in place. Happens like 60% of the time. Did you ever get this figured out / fixed?
Mine happened after I got a T-fluid...

Also interesting to hear its noticeable on bikes too - I do ride a CBR600rr so I'll have to pay attention to if it has a similar noise!
Hey folks!
2025 FL5 with around 4000 miles w/ an overrev (3rd to 2nd) a few weeks ago. Did a full leak down / compression test and tuner said car drives and feels fine with no issues they can tell - oil changed with no metal and sample is out with blackstone just in case as well.
However...
Yea - did a lot of research after hearing the noise and I saw a whole bunch of owners who have similar sounds (especially the ones with videos). I think there was one case where the owner actually had a spun bearing but pretty much everyone else just had the sound (some new some old) with no...
That’s good to hear, less expensive than expected!
its less ticking but there’s some quiet knocking after the shift, barely audible at idle but louder between 1500-2500rpm then engine sounds are too loud to hear it anymore after. Assuming it’s a spun bearing but no noticeable oil pressure...
I have the same issue - money shifted from 3 to 2, will likely need to get bearing replaced, just curious how much did the dealer charge you / did they cover it under warranty?
