"Rumors of ICE's death appear to have been greatly exaggerated."
I agree but this only applies to north america lol Rest of the world is going hybrid at the very least and full electric at the most.
My issue with all of this is no matter what the prices will continue to climb and the sale...
Autel AP200 Bluetooth OBD2 Scanner is a easier way to check as it just checks everything in a few clicks.
Just peace of mind know you didnt over rev as you might mod or avoid the money dealer might make you pay taking apart an engine.
Thanks, I assumed it would have shown up in one of the scans and since nothing is there didn't over rev and my concern is likely a mechanical issue with the shifter assembly itself.
Hey,
I did that exactly with the Diag-Asia app installed, with Honda v2.01.
No fault code or anything showed up when I turned the car on in the accessory position an ran both the hot and full scans. Besides the immobiliser code which I assume is fine.
Would it be safe to say no one over rev...
Hi everyone,
I’m making this post because I’ve been experiencing consistent resistance when shifting between all gears. The dealer checked it and said everything was fine, but it definitely feels different from when I first got the car.
To rule out any potential over-revving or mis-shifting, I...
Sorry for asking so many questions. Just the first person to reply lol With real experience.
Do I need to search out the apps? Is there a list or when I get the scanner it kinda guides me?
Thanks for the information and hopefully this chat buzz up more input on your problem.
How did you scan the code for the over-rev? Does it show it on the system computer? and what Scanner did you use?
Thinking of getting a used FK8 and assuming the process would be similar.
I feel the same way about my clutch, I only have 1k km on my car so far but for some reason, it feels like I have to bring the clutch pedal high before it bites. So it might just be how the car is but hoping someone with more experience with type r has thoughts.
Copying from a Reddit post I made and this is mostly for Canada. However, When number line up hard to ignore the other facts attached.
Only 540 units are allocated for the 2023-2025 model years. This can be verified on Honda's corporate page, as the Type R is the only model made in Japan and...
I am guessing they will do a type S LE outside of Japan and maybe rush something for their domestic market. This was shown and I can't imagine them doing more for the car and the last run version. This would be the peak release honda could do.
Sure dealers can lie but can Honda break the law? The type R is an international product that won't meet EU regulations and seems like Japanese regulations. Like you can search for the new reg and the current Type R engine exhaust pollution amount, no way the same engine coming back. There is a...
For the EU regulation, it seems clear wont is not possible for a 2026 Year:
223 g/km of Co2 is the amount the Type R makes.
The regulations are looking to have it below 100g.
It has been repeated a few times and the data proves that this will be a 3-year production car. No idea why people can't believe that.
A massive Canadian dealer 3 years ago said it would be a 3-year run with 180 coming in each year here in Canada. What happened for the last 2 years? 180 cars...
