    Thanks! That's a very valid guess! Yep, I definitely released the clutch too quickly this time. I guess a good rule of thumb is I should probably wait until the dash fully comes on.

    Thanks! Now I am feeling better:) Just out of curiosity, what is the reason behind lifting off the clutch too fast causing the engine to stall? I thought if the car is in neutral, the engine won't stall?

    Hey everyone, Manual car noob here. When I started the engine of my FL5 today, it stalled. I checked and pretty sure the car was in neutral. I am not sure why the car stalled.
