  1. SCCA Autocross Stock Class

The SAC are meeting early next month to discuss. No decision has been made yet.
  2. SCCA Autocross Stock Class

I've always done long press. Tired pedal dance at our local this past weekend... But with some other changes, so hard to determine cause. Wasn't a huge difference, but I'm historically not a terribly sensitive to car setup.
  3. SCCA Autocross Stock Class

My '24 is close in setup. EC-7s and 275 Stones, although lower front pressures. I have a PRL front pipe, but no aftermarket cat back for the same reasons as Brad. And I do have the Karcepts bar (and the Karcepts clunking), and I run the ITS ADS. Next year also eyeing lighter wheels and...
  4. SCCA Autocross Stock Class

Solo Nationals is looking good 12 CTR/ITS signed up and 15 drivers. I'll be driving with Jim in his '23, but bringing my '24 car as well for Dave to drive. 59/159 & 62.
  5. Civic Type R vs. Ford GT

  6. Tire wear help

Looks like a toe alignment issue to me. And if you're getting wheelspin out of corners...there you go. A larger rear bar can help put power down on corner exit.
  7. SCCA Autocross Stock Class

Assuming you're on the stock width wheels, in general, pinching wider tires won't net much performance gain for autocross, and can actually be slower. Today's crop of top tier autocross tires are very sensitive to wheel width. I think 295's would be in that direction...too much tire for the...
  8. FL5 (BS?) Autocross Thread

I hear that. My STX car was awful, and that was after I got rid of the titanium Tomei exhaust the previous owner had.
  9. FL5 (BS?) Autocross Thread

Who is running any sort of aftermarket exhaust? Not a ton of weight loss to be had, but preliminary reading sounds like maybe some power to be found? Sound is a consideration as this is still mostly a daily, and some of our sites have relatively low limits (sub 95db).
