  1. Intercooler Spray Needed

De5 shares the same hood as fl5? Have you seen it in person if the fitting is flawless? I’m contemplating the varis hood also

  3. Intercooler Spray Needed

Everything is just hot and doesn’t help where I am from. Oil temp got high, water was high, IAT also high. Will explore options without cutting up the bumper
  4. Intercooler Spray Needed

This overheating is serious. 145c oil temp 115c water temp pwr + oil cooler + trans cooler are also not enough. gonna figure if there’s room for an under body oil cooler like those in bmw but protect it with some grill. I believe timing pull is very serious on my car after just 2 laps or so
  5. Turbo Options

That’s similar to mine and it makes about 430+ on 93 alone. It’s much more responsive than say 380 on stock turbo. But I feel the car could definitely use 500 or so. 4th onwards is sluggish

  8. Turbo Options

Here’s my 93 base and e30 kuro. You can consider mhi stage 2 too. I’m going to spend a bit more investment in cams and ported head to get a bit more out of it without/before giving up spool rate for power.

Time Skip Took a long break from updating the build as the car went into cold storage. Below is the current setup. Many thanks to Derek @ IMWTuned for the remote dyno tune. The kuro delivers 437 whp on Ron 100, and 487 whp on e30. The car pulls very naturally now even on 4th. The car had some...

The belt height adjuster rattle is also real. I’ll tackle that next when I reassemble the interior. Glad to have helped!
  13. FL5 recall (2022-2025 Civic Steering Gearbox Assembly)

Took my subframe off when doing my lower arm bushings upgrade. Should have just fixed this myself. If it can be done without dropping the subframe and redoing my alignment that’d be delightful.

Water Injection After much consideration I decided to use the AEM kit to just do water injection. I’ll tap into the washer reservoir instead of hooking up a tank in the rear. My intention is to mount the pump on the subframe front brace. Which is nothing more than a filmy sheet metal. I have...

RMM in today Heard good things about PRL RMM. If it ain’t sufficient I’d try the stiffer ones from Hasport. Battle Bee Oil Cooler oil cooler is quite a pain to install. Routing the piping is troublesome. Battlebee stuff is very well made imho. Shame that it isn’t widely available in NA yet...

Rattle Fix #2 - Headunit/Dashboard there’s some serious rattle around here. Gonna have to whip out the foam and felt tapes to tackle this. Update: I’ve eliminated the rattle ? Remove the four screws/bolts holding the Headunit. Undo the two connectors behind the Headunit and lift the Headunit...

Recaro Podiums Podiums arrived. I had in mind that I ordered red alcantara but received them in black. Probably have to order some red pads later on. I am well aware that these seats have driver and passenger shells where it’s determined by the FIA stickers location, I was still shipped with...
  19. Use new bolt/nut. Did you?

Was going through service manual looking for torque figures and I realized this: Did you really use new nuts and bolts every time you made adjustments / changed out parts?
