Prl and other company’s make milled aluminum finned plates to reduce heat radiating off the turbo. Since the turbo is literally right under the inlet piping it stores more heat naturally.

So I installed the PRL hvi to my fl5, when I purchased the hvi I also purchased the titanium turbo inlet, I’m running stock tune and turbo.. my question to the group is will I lose power from instal or flood engine with air.. I’ve heard lots of mixed reviews and I’d like a scientific reasoning...

There is no serviceable part inside.. it’s just a casted pipe with a cover plate.
