I contacted support and they agreed to refund me if I drilled a hole in the expansion tank. Never got either of the 2 tanks working properly. I have the stock tank now.

I had the same issue with mine. Sent it in under warranty and they sent me a new one. The sight glass still doesnt work properly. I feel like that sight glass should be fuller. I did run the one that doesn't work for a while and the temps were fine, but the sight glass doesnt work.
