I am running the Paragon 370mm big brake kit and it works great on the street and the track. It's good enough for the Global Time Attack FWD Enthusiast class record at the Ridge Motorsports Park!
Paragon has cheaper consumables compared to AP and they have really good customer service.
If you...
Left is the factory optional carbon wing, right is a hood vent insert from EPR. Not quite the same but close. As long as the parts aren't touching or directly next to each other it's close enough IMO.
Surprised no one has mentioned this yet but the turbo inlet and intercooler pipes won't do much, if anything for power so I would definitely skip those unless you are going for the looks.
If I were you I would add an exhaust for sound, and hold off on both the intercooler and turbo upgrade. Get...
I am selling a brand new H5/Group 47 Lithium Anti Gravity battery. I bought this and test fit it but it has not been used. This model has the restart feature and comes with 2 remotes as well as a battery monitor that you can use to check on the health of the battery with a phone app.
I ended up...
I am selling a set of Forged Apex VS-5RS in 19x9.5 ET45 and Satin Black.
I used these purely for the track last season so they are a little banged up but it's all just cosmetic stuff. I have closeup images of each wheel and any imperfections. These would make a good set of discounted track...
I've had the AWE touring since early 2024 and it sounds great. If you want it quieter, keep the stock DP. In my opinion, this setup is what the car should sound like stock and it's really not that loud.
I am running the TSP downpipe with mine and it's a bit louder but it's perfect IMO. The car...
Unless you are trying to race or do time attack in a class that the Si doesn't work well in, I would not hesitate to track one.
There is an 11th gen Si in my area that put down a very respectable time at the local track with just some basic mods. Here is a link for inspiration.
@svvitch it can break the worm gears or electric motor if you did that. You still have to turn the piston to retract it back into the caliper but you have to either remove or retract the electronic bits first.
This is not the best image but kind of shows you whats going on and the things you...
This happened to me and it was the valve cover. Very small leak that collected over time which made it hard to troubleshoot. I think if you inspect the passenger side rear corner of the valve cover you will see oil up there but probably not much and it's hard to get access to. If you have an...
Manual method is the way to go IMO, I've already done it twice. It adds like 2 extra minutes to the job. Not worth getting the scanner just for this unless you need/want it for other things too.
You can buy sheets of exhaust gasket material from Summit. The same thing happened to me except on the downpipe/frontpipe connection. It has held up for about 6 months and some hard track use so it's probably good enough for your use case as well.
I'm not sure if this is exactly what I used...
