Don't touch the studs!!! I broke one and it was a fucking nightmare. I had to take the turbo apart and do some dirty things to it that I don't even want to repeat here. Ignore the allure of fancy titanium and leave them be before you ruin something.
Forget you ever read this.
The manual will die once hybrids take over, but they've got to spare us from the CVT. I wouldn't mind if they developed a proper DSG for the SI/prelude/CTR.
Anyway, the 25 Integra is specced out on acura.com with no changes to the drivetrains. The same L15 continues with manual option, so...
If you're so against greedy dealers then why are you getting them to fix your car? Send it back to the factory if you find their business model so offensive.
Bro was praising his CRV's cargo room in the same thread where he recommends a fucking miata. Seriously bipolar. I'm kinda sad he's gone because now we have to talk about engines or something.
Your CEL blinked? Surely it's catastrophic engine failure and you've just been coasting around since then. Lawyer up, or better yet grab yer AR and storm the dealership and take whatever car you want. They owe it to you.
At 18ftlbs I wouldn't even bother with the torque wrench, just use a ratchet until it's snug. It's easy to miss the click on a low torque and go too far.
Integras have terrible sound deadening. It's a dressed up civic and it shows. I'm only in one because I couldn't get an si. The DE5 is optioned lower than the A-Spec which is odd. It's like they were given the FL5 chassis but could only add so much. I'd go FL5 all day if I was upgrading.
I went with TSP because it appears to have a better cat, which could make all the difference if you need to pass emissions or inspections, or just need to go back to stock tune for whatever reason. Mine's still in the box... just waiting on a front pipe so I don't have to take everything apart...
