Like some of the above, I too went to 18X9.5 and 255 for a more winter set up with the Conti DWS06, the tires have been fantastic, I will swap back to stock wheels and tires probably in April.
I did PPF on the front, hood, mirrors and rockers.
My after market wheels are Enkei Matte Bronze TR6...
I stacked the 4 tires/wheels (Stock) and put them on an interior wall of the garage to keep them as warm as possible. The Conti's have been great so far
I think they should be good, a coworker swears by them for all season and and said they handle snow well.
And that additional sidewall has helped the ride, mildy.
Westerville?? Go Cats!!
Based on the weather where I live, I decided to do a more winter friendly set up, for NOV-MAR.
I love the stock wheels and tires, I made the change for driving, not aesthetics, and the stocks will go back as soon as temps get warm.
These are the first after-market wheels I have ever bought. I...
Overall, I think I could do better with MPG. I am still in the phase where I am driving it more aggressively, or at least accelerating more aggressively than probably needed. And I think the rev match may factor into that as well. Thanks for the input, I have a goal to shoot for! :)
I apologize for the length of this post, but I wanted to add as much information for a potential FL5 Type R buyer.
My Honda bio, superfluous info, feel free to skip ahead.
My wife and I have owned the following Hondas/Acuras over the years. 93 Civic, 97 Accord, 04 TLX, 08 Pilot, 14 Accord EX-L...
My FL5 is also SGP. I looked at 20 different wheels, and settled for Enkei Triumph's in 18" matte Bronze. On Fitment Industries they have an FK8 with that combo and it looks really good. I would love some Volk's but just didnt want to spend that. Those blue wheels do look great too!
Will do...

I think I have been educated by some of the people on here, and I am forgoing, for now, the dealership trip. However, i did make them aware of it, and they will replace the calipers now if I want. So maybe make them aware of it, and proceed from there so it's documented.
I wanted to throw this out there and see if this is anyway a trend? My FL5 has approx. 2500 miles, and is not track driven, just my daily. I realized a few weeks ago that the paint was already coming off the rear calipers, fronts look fine. My dealership has already ordered replacements, we...
I live 3 mins from my acura dealer, and I may try to go down and check it out. The tester type s i drove had the larger dealer optioned spoiler and it looked really good. However, the type s doesnt have the rear wiper like the R, so i am wondering how that would look?
I thought they felt very similar. Overall, I have been impressed with the FL5. I usually cruise around in individual mode, with the "racier" settings, except I leave the suspension in comfort. Overall my test drive of the integra was very limited, maybe 15 mins. And the roads around the...
I think you nailed that summary. I was able to test drive a Type S last week, it is cool that the dealers are allowing test drives. As expected it felt very similar to my FL5. I think the potential for this car is to help drive down the FL5 Market. I bought my FL5 at MSRP, which I realize is...
