The M6 clip nuts and flanged bolts are probably a better way to go, the factory fasteners are plastic. They're fine I guess but they felt like they would strip out pretty easy.

I wouldn't have even thought to do this without your post, thanks for doing the research! Part number is 83250-T20-A01ZA and according to the guys over at Honda Car Parts Direct it is compatible with the Sport Touring as well.
