Could be something temperature related problem is mine is perfectly normal now that we are in the 15c + temperatures but as soon as it drops below 10c will do it again. I think it’s more the eps gearbox as I can notice it with ignition on and engine off so without the power steering working.
A few 23 type R done in the UK, all steering rack replaced, mine has stopped doing it as the weather is now warmer as soon as it drops below 10c it starts getting worse again. I will try again with Honda UK when it gets worse and see what happens, its a £1500+VAT job to replace the whole...
2023 type r FL5 car is in 12k miles and been experiencing it for the past 1000 miles more obvious with cold weather but hard to reproduce at the dealer although Honda reading has a few fl5 with similar problems registered. Found out today that if you turn the car on without starting it and move...
I have a uk spec fl5 mine sometimes does it normally under heavy rain or if dirty make sure all 4 sensors in the front plus the 2 in the side of the bumper are clean from debris.
To be honest it could also be down to fuel quality been used to shell ultimate and had to get what I could in the middle of Austria still not a massive difference in normal drive only when pushing hard. The uk spec is down for 325 I believe it felt like it lost more than 10bhp down to fuel
I have a fl5 type r and had to run 95 instead of the usual 98 or 102 Octane just for reference car worked fine but top speed on the autobahn was massively different 244km to 276 also car pulled back on power massively and felt very lethargic on 95.
