Recently decided to sell my ce28 club racers for a set of Matte Blue Gunmetal TE37SL's, Big thanks to the people at System Motorsports for always taking care of me!
Wanted to go for an aggressive meaty fit and I think I nailed the perfect fit between aggressive, yet still daily-able fitment...
You can try low life projects fat boy extended camber plates but you'd need to get smaller springs to compensate for the thicker top plate. OR... just get proper spec wheels.. 9.5 fits fine on non-type r chassis, as long as it's +35 and higher offset, I'm not sure why people are saying it...
I was running a similar setup on my 10th gen hatch, I Do it for looks really, i just pushed the camber bolt all the way in, Got the fenders rolled with a slight pull, then i slapped the 20mm spacer on, sits perfect, although i might downsize a tire size so i can go lower again
tire specs: 265/35 all around
wheel specs: 18x9.5 +18 front (20mm spacer) +35 rear (3mm spacer)
how much of a drop? not sure, I eyeballed, its about a quarter inch from being maxed out
alignment: -3.7 front, -4 rear, factory alignment the rest
I have been riding on these coilovers for well over a month now and I feel I can give a pretty good review on them. Coming from a 10th gen hatch, The coilover install was pretty easy, as are most coilover installs I assume. Only glaring issue I noticed on my 22si when installing was how finnicky...
How are the coils holding up? looking to pick up a set myself. I see you upgraded to swift springs, did you also go higher springrate or standard 8k as default?
