I (also biased) agree. 35k-ish for a used FK8 or 50k+ at the moment for an FL5. Seems like a no-brainer to me to save the money unless you REALLY hate the way the FK8 looks.
I was really confused with the last few pages of posts because it seemed like people were arguing with themselves but then I realized its because I set boostlags posts to "ignore" months ago.
Gotta love forum features.
@savagegeese Thank you for all your work. I drove my FK8 up to Toronto Motorsports Park a few years back and you took me for a few laps in your awesome Ariel Atom.
Throttle House released their video today and it appears the FK8 is faster from a roll than the FL5. Is that surprising to you...
I bought a used s2000 in 2015 that felt like the suspension was quite still considering it was stock. It still had the spring spacers installed.
It was a 2007 with 25,000 miles on it.......and it still had the original spring spacers.
25000 MILES......8 YEARS with the spacers in. How does that...
I don't have a singular doubt that the GRC will be far more engaging to drive than the type R.
The fact that 70% of the power can be sent to the rear is enough to make it more engaging imo.
This is a an interesting video but I just think that
Max, Max, Max, super Max, Max
Super, super Max, Max, Max
Super Max, Max
Super, super Max, Max, Max
Super Max, Max
Super, super Max, Max, Max
Super Max, Max
Glossy back seats!?!?!? UNACCEPTABLE
I am first on the list of my local dealership and put $30K non-refundable deposit down, but if this is true they can keep it. YUCK!
